Back in 2016, I was building and selling firearm components and parts, frequenting specialized tradeshows and gun and knife shows. Since my EAS in 2010, I had always rocked a freedom beard in some fashion and being one who has always firmly believed in self-reliance, had developed a butter type formula to nourish the skin under my beard that the Marine Corps had so blatantly insisted on destroying with a razor. I started noticing that the longer my beard got, the more compliments or "what beard products do you use" type questions I would get. So, long story short, and after countless hours of research, testing and trial and error, I decided to market my butter-type formula (which was actually closer to my current balm formula) and so began this journey in face-to-face sales of skin and hair products that has lead to the Gunfighter Beard Co that you all know and love today.

Chriss, is responsible for everything that is Gunfighter Beard Co. A former Marine, husband and father of three girls and a boy, he stays secluded and busy deep in the South Carolina woods creating and formulating new, exciting and innovative hair and skin products because he believes life is too short to have an ugly beard.
